Junkineering
Turn-based RPG
Sole audio designer responsible for the full audio production and sound direction of a fast-paced action RPG. Defined and developed the game’s complete audio identity, supporting high-intensity combat, ability-driven gameplay, and large-scale boss encounters within a vibrant fantasy world. Designed and produced all sound assets from scratch, including combat, abilities, UI, environments, and character-related audio, ensuring clarity and impact across dense and visually complex scenes. Developed core audio concepts and systems to support continuous gameplay flow, responsiveness, and clear player feedback in a non-stop action environment. Owned the entire audio pipeline — from concept and prototyping to final implementation. Built and maintained the audio architecture using FMOD and Unity, including event structure, parameter systems, and real-time control logic. Focused on optimization, memory management, and performance across mobile platforms, ensuring stable performance under heavy load and a high number of simultaneous audio events. Also contributed to marketing and presentation materials, including detailed sound design, voiceover editing and processing, and final mixing for promotional videos. Worked with both in-game and marketing voiceovers, ensuring clarity, consistency, and emotional impact across different formats and delivery platforms. Continuously tested, iterated, and refined the audio system throughout development, adapting it for different gameplay scenarios, content updates, and platform requirements. Collaborated closely with game design and development teams to ensure tight integration between gameplay mechanics and audio systems, delivering a cohesive, responsive, and immersive player experience. Music was integrated and adapted within the system to match gameplay pacing and intensity.
